Director & Lead Designer for Pure Golf and Surprizeshop

Well, I don’t really have a formal job description, but my title is Owner and Director. That sounds very grand, but it just means I oversee everything, keeping a general overview to make sure things are running as they should.

I’m very passionate about ensuring we have a positive culture—a fun and engaging place for our team to work, underpinned by respect, passion, and pride in what we do. I very much hope that comes across in what we create and in our interactions, whether that’s with a golf pro or someone just starting out on their golf journey.

My day-to-day is heavily involved in the design side of both Pure Golf and Surprizeshop, from initial concept to fruition, which is really fun. At the moment, I’m also responsible for all the emails we send and for helping with content creation on the website.

Fun fact: Running a golf company is very different from what I originally planned to do! Life can take us in unexpected directions. I actually have a degree in Town and Country Planning, but it wasn’t quite for me—there was always someone unhappy about whether something got approved or not. I feel much more confident (and happier!) designing golf gear and running a women’s golf company.

Favorite drink: Champagne, closely followed by a Mojito.
Favorite food: My favorite food group is “Michelin-starred”! Failing that, it’s chocolate.

Director, Head of Operations & E-commerce

As Director, I look after the day-to-day running of the business and work with our department leads to make sure everything runs smoothly for our customers. I’m also always on the lookout for new ideas and ventures to help us grow. I’m a bit of a tech enthusiast and love finding new ways to improve what we do.

I’ve been involved in the business for as long as I can remember—pretty much since I could walk and talk! My Mum and Dad set up the business when i was 6 weeks old! Over the years, I’ve done just about every role here, which has really helped me understand how it all fits together.

Outside of work, you’ll usually find me on the golf course or football pitch with friends.

Fun Fact: I had a hole-in-one when I was 14!

Favourite Food: Anything Mexican Or Italian!

Events Manager, South Thames and Key Accounts Manager & E-commerce

I joined Surprizeshop in 2018 after Christina recruited me into the family business—not too surprising after being with Haidan for two years!

My official title is managing our Surprizeshop pop-up shops and events. I also look after the South Thames area, selling to our fabulous golf pro shops and key accounts. On top of that, I do a lot of e-commerce work running our websites.

Joining Surprizeshop was always a no-brainer for me, as I’ve been part of the golf world for so long. I’ve played golf since I was nine years old and competed at the top national level.

Fun fact: I play off a +1 handicap and also represent Middlesex County. This year I won the Middlesex women's county championship!

Favourite food or drink: Aperol Spritz, iced coffee, or Diet Coke (depending on the time of day!)

Favourite hobbies: Going for brunch, listening to Taylor Swift, and having sofa cuddles with my Cockapoo, Nova.

Operations Support

My official title is Operations Support, but I have a variety of roles at Surprizeshop. I work as a content creator and video editor, handle customer service, help design our garments, and even do a bit of modelling.

Fun fact: I have a fine art degree.

Favourite food and drink: I’m a massive foodie and love pretty much everything, but Greek cuisine is my favourite. My go-to drink is a mango mojito (ideally on a beach, please!).

Favourite hobby: I have tonnes of hobbies, from playing sports to travelling the world. When I finally get time to relax, I love creating art (putting that fine art degree to good use!) or socialising with friends, especially in the sun.

Warehouse Operative & Sales Lady Extraordinaire

Carol has been with the Surprizeshop team since 2011. Carol is semi-retired and an avid golfer, winning plenty of competitions both at home and away! She is also a keen bowls player and loves to keep busy and active. When ever she is in the office and warehouse she is always making people laugh!

She has always worked in our warehouse and was previously our shop manager. Since retiring, she works in our warehouse picking and packing your orders.

Fun fact: Carol is a Grandma to 6 and is loving it!

Favourite drink: Wine or Gin & Tonic!

Warehouse Operative

Ellias joined the Surprizeshop team in 2023 as part of the warehouse team. He’s a team member you can always rely on and is always willing to help you find exactly what you need from the warehouse!

Ellias is a big Arsenal FC fan and can often be seen around the warehouse in his arsenal merchandise

Fun fact – Ellias has met Queen Elizabeth II!

Graphic Designer & Photographer

Ellis is our Graphic Designer and Photographer – a fancy way of saying he makes things look pretty! With a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Hertfordshire, Ellis helps create our Pure Golf and Surprizeshop brochures, as well as the visuals for our website and marketing materials. He also contributes to the product design and development of Surprizeshop Accessories.

Fun fact – I’m a super neat freak and I own over 13 pairs of shoes. Yes, before you ask, I wear them all!

Favorite food and drink – Sweet popcorn and a Blueberry ICEE, especially from the cinema.

Favorite hobby – When I’m not designing, you’ll find me either on the football field pretending to be a pro, or at the cinema (which you probably guessed from above!).

Executive Assistant, Senior Operations & Events Manager

I’m loving diving into Ladies Golf Wear with a fabulous family-run company and brand! I’m even thinking of taking up golf just to rock their collection!

Fun fact – I spent 17 years in the music industry, organizing events for amazing artists like Coldplay, Elbow, Keane, Stereophonics, and Elton John.

Favorite food or drink – I’m a huge fan of brunch (especially the bottomless kind!), and I’m famous for my 5ft cheeseboards. I can’t live without tapas and pasta, and Bacardi is my go-to drink, closely followed by a Porn Star Martini and a Mojito. Oh, and I absolutely cannot forget my love for coffee!

Favorite hobby – Spending time with friends and family, anything related to music, seeking out new life experiences, binge-watching true-life films, documentaries, and crime shows, and getting lost in books.

Lead Creative Designer for Pure Golf

Oliver joined the team in 2022 and has quickly become a key part of the Pure Golf team. With a keen eye for fashion, prints, and design, Oliver is the lead creative designer for Pure Golf. He holds both a BA and an MA in photography and is responsible for all of the stunning lifestyle images we have. His great eye for colour and style plays a pivotal role in shaping the look of our new ranges.

Oliver has a passion for great food and loves discovering new restaurants.

Favorite food – Sushi

Book-keeper & Accounts

Syed Joined the Surprizeshop team in 2022 and is responsible for overseeing the accounts, making payments, processing payroll, and conducting other tasks related to finance.

Syed is an animal lover and has a cat called Katsu! Sometimes Katsu even comes into the Surprizeshop Office!

Fun fact – Syed is fluent in two languages

Meet & Greet + Head of Shredding

Honey is Christina and Jason’s dog, a two-year-old ginger Toy Poodle. She’s been coming to the office since she was 12 weeks old, and her favourite spot is Jason’s office sofa. Honey regularly has zoomies around the office and is a true bundle of joy and fun! Honey is Head of Meet and Greet and will have a cuddle with anyone who walks through the door.
